Not sure what coaching is like? I get it.

It’s difficult to know what you’ll learn from someone you’ve never met before. (And even if you have met me, you might still have questions.) I know the kinds of things that are probably going through your head when you think of paying someone to help you through the rough spots in your business:

“She may not give good advice.”
“She may not know what she’s talking about.”
“I may not like talking to her.”
“She might not understand my business.”
“She probably charges an arm and a leg.”
“How can a coach possibly help me over the telephone?”

The only way I know to calm that little voice is to give you a free sample, like they do in the ice cream stores. Try-before-you-buy. It makes perfect sense. But first, keep reading to see if the Laser Coaching session is for you.

How am I different than other coaches?

The first obvious difference is my professional background. You’re not just getting another business coach, I’m also a business owner, like you are, and I’ve owned my branding and marketing communications firm since 1984. I’m actually doing what I’m teaching. I’ve worked with my own small teams, and I’ve had the same challenges and frustrations you’re having, for over 25 years.

What kind of clients should work with me?

Entrepreneurs with 1 to 10 full-time, part-time, or contract team members

Work-at-home business owners with virtual team members

Solo-entrepreneurs wanting to make the leap to hiring team members

Entrepreneurs in growth mode for whom things are happening so quickly that they’re finding it difficult to keep up with their current team model

Entrepreneurs wanting to break through bottlenecks and years of belief systems that no longer serve them

Business owners who are serious about making positive changes in their businesses so they can get out of the cycle of team and management issues and back to what they started their businesses for in the first place

Who should not work with me?

I don’t work well with people who complain, whine, argue, or make excuses.

I am not interested in coaching those who like to debate or question the effectiveness of my program, which is proven to work.

Those who are not willing to work on their business as well as in it, or commit the time necessary to do so, may not be ready for my coaching.

Those who are not open to change, or willing to consider making real changes in their management style, may not be ready for my coaching.

What happens during the no-cost Laser Coaching session?

It’s simple. You tell me a little about your company and your challenges. I tell you how I can help, by offering real, actionable solutions — as much as I can squeeze into 15 minutes. You don’t need to have all your ducks in a row for us to talk — in fact, lining up ducks just happens to be one of my specialties.

If you like what you hear and I think we’re a good fit, we might decide to go further. If not, we part as friends and you get to keep the actionable solutions — free!

What will I get out of the session?

You might learn just one new way to disentangle yourself a bit from the day-to-day stuff of your business. You know, the stuff that’s keeping you working in your business instead of on it. The stuff that’s keeping you there on weekends instead of home with your family — that kind of stuff. Or you might get one different point of view that helps you loosen up and stop being such a bottleneck, with all the problems ending up on your desk.

Hey, I don’t know that much about your business yet, so think up some questions and I'll tell you if I can help you. If I can't help, maybe I can steer you in the right direction. So ask me some questions. I’ll give you some answers. Need to know more about me?
